2026 Shanghai International Leisure Expo
As a key exhibition component of the 2026 Shanghai Tourism Festival, the 2026 Shanghai International Leisure Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “Leisure Expo”) will be held from November 19 to 22, 2026, at Hall 7.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
The Leisure Expo will be held concurrently and at the same venue with the 7th Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo, creating strong synergy between the two exhibitions. This collaboration will leverage the citywide brand influence of the Shanghai Tourism Festival and the national-level platform and resources of the Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo to jointly build an internationally influential platform integrating culture, commerce, tourism, sports and exhibitions. It will inject new momentum into cultural and tourism consumption and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
Through a diverse range of activities, including exhibitions, industry forums, sporting events and business matchmaking, the Leisure Expo will facilitate the convergence of resources and cooperation across the entire leisure and vacation industry value chain.
2. Industry Background
As consumer spending continues to evolve, leisure lifestyles become increasingly diverse, and emerging sectors such as “Culture & Tourism+,” “Wellness+,” and “Technology+” accelerate their integration, the leisure and vacation industry is entering a new phase of growth.
Consumer demand is shifting from traditional sightseeing toward higher-quality, experience-driven, personalized and diversified leisure lifestyles.
3. Theme & Positioning of the 2026 Leisure Expo
Under the theme:
“New Leisure · New Vacation · New Consumption — Unlocking New Momentum for the Culture and Tourism Industry”
the 2026 Shanghai International Leisure Expo will build on Shanghai’s development as an international consumption center and the growing demand for coordinated development of the cultural and tourism industries across the Yangtze River Delta.
Focusing on emerging trends, new scenarios and innovative business models in the leisure and vacation industry, the Expo aims to create an international professional platform integrating exhibition and exchange, industry cooperation, brand promotion, project matchmaking and new achievement launches.
4. About the Organizer
As one of the organizers of the Shanghai International Leisure Expo, the Shanghai Tourism Trade Association has long been committed to supporting the development of Shanghai’s tourism industry. It brings together high-quality industry resources across a wide range of sectors, including hotels, travel agencies, tourist attractions, online travel services, tourism equipment, and leisure and vacation services.
Leveraging the Association’s extensive industry network and platform advantages, the Leisure Expo Organizing Committee will further connect industry enterprises, member organizations and broader industry resources, providing strong support for exhibitors, industry professionals and trade visitors.
